Robust and reliable treadmill that can be controlled by external devices
Modern designed treadmill specifically designed for children. It can be controlled by external ECG and pulmonary devices. The emergency stop magnet contact on the standard front handrail provides additional safety for the user. The Valiant 2 Pediatric offers a smooth acceleration from 0 km/h and is continuously adjustable in a range of 0,1 – 12 km/h (0.06 – 7.5 mph). The running surface is 50 x 127 cm and the standard elevation is 0 – 25%. This treadmill is supplied without any display.
A USB A-B cable for service purposes as well as connecting to ECG and pulmonary testing devices will be standard delivered with the product.
To connect older ECG and pulmonary testing devices with RS232 or other connectors you need a special interface cable that can be ordered separately.
«Lode Valiant Treadmill and LEM software easy to use in a research setting»
– Dr. E.M.W. (Elles) Kotte, Fitkids Foundation
In our research, 356 healthy children between 6 and 18 years of age performed the Fitkids Treadmill Test (FTT) on the Lode Valiant Treadmill to describe age- and sex-related reference values for FTT performance. A small group of children performed to FTT twice in two weeks and another small group performed both the FTT and the Bruce protocol in two weeks in order to gain insight in the validity and the reproducibility of the FTT. It is our experience that the Lode Valiant Treadmill is very reliable and the LEM software is easy to use. The results showed that the FTT is a valid and reliable maximal exercise test in heathy children. The reference values provided can be used by physical therapists to adequately interpret FTT performance.

Sentec Digital Monitor (SDM) with activated PO2 channel for tcPCO2, tcPO2, SpO2, PR and HP monitoring
The Sentec Digital Monitoring System with PO2 (SDMS-PO2) provides continuous and non-invasive real-time monitoring of ventilation (tcPCO2), oxygenation (tcPO2) and Heating Power (HP) for neonatal patients. In pediatric / adult patients, the system can be used for tcPCO2, tcPO2, SpOI2, Pulse Rate, Pulsation Index (PI) and HP monitoring.
Transcutaneous monitoring (TCM) provides clinicians with greater insight to quickly identify trends, rapidly and accurately assess patient status, and make more well-informed, timely care decisions.

Helping heal one step at a time
From rehabilitation to orthopedics to physical therapy, the PPS (Professional Power System) Med treadmill provides comfort and assistance to patients who require walking support. This treadmill can accommodate any user’s pace with an absolute zero start speed with increments of 0.1 mph.

Medisorb™ CO2 Absorbent
The Medisorb™ CO2 absorbent product line supports GE Healthcare anesthesia machines. Available in a wide range of sizes and styles, it is specifically designed to help change out absorbers simply. It is also available in a low-alkaline formulation, Medisorb™ EF.
As Medisorb™ soda lime becomes exhausted, it changes colour from white to violet. With the Medisorb™ EF EX, this colour change is longer lasting, thus helping to identify previously used absorbent. The Medisorb™ EF EX will also turn violet if desiccated. Note: Colour indication is not a definitive guide to remaining absorbent life and should always be used in conjunction with CO2 monitoring.

IOS Impulse Oscillometry
Tidal breathing analysis with Impulse Oscillometry (IOS) has demonstrated to be informative and differentiated in the early detection and follow up of pulmonary diseases like asthma, COPD and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. IOS is almost independent of patient cooperation and can test a larger patient range than spirometry alone, from children to adult to geriatric patients.
IOS is available as a stand-alone device combined with a spirometry measurement program (MasterScreen IOS and Vyntus IOS) or as an add-on module to the MasterScreen series.
